The bottom line: Whenever possible, I try to take myself less seriously.

Being a devoted pupil of the ancient "Primitives", I find it sometimes hard to keep up with our Moderna. I manage to do it in a more humoristic, softly mocking at times, manner.
Humans and animals serve as a platform for expressing my thoughts and feelings about social, political and ecological agendas.

From 2008 on, I dedicate myself totally to firing all my works in outdoor kilns
using scrap-wood as sole fuel.
Materials: Coarse clays and paper clay, fired to about 1150*C
with additives of wood, straw, newsprint, wire and a variety of materials for recycling.
